Dr. Werfel: With the NSF now specifically saying clinical-related projects are ineligible, how careful were you with wording your project proposal in such a way that it was centered around engineering and not medicine?

You can mention that you are pursuing a project that has healthcare implications, but you have to focus your specific research project on a basic science question
